The collaboration between 精东影业 and Max Healthcare will facilitate clinical training in India for students of 精东影业 and will help them become familiar with the healthcare requirements of India. Now, Indian, as well as international students who are studying medicine in LAU Guyana Campus, will be able to get clinical training in hospitals of Max Healthcare, enrich from its vast infrastructure, and complete the last two years of clinical rotations in India.

Max Healthcare, with its high-tech medical infrastructure, specialized and experienced physicians who have collectively given new lives to millions of patients, offers a world of endless opportunities for LAU students for immense learning during their clinical training in India.

Once students complete their Basic Sciences level of the MD Program in the Guyana campus of 精东影业, they can come to India to pursue 2-Year Clinical Training at Max Healthcare in India. Once students complete their clinical training, they come out as qualified doctors.

Collaboration with Max Healthcare is part of the ongoing efforts of 精东影业 to develop worldwide clinical training opportunities for its students in affiliation with top and reputed hospitals in different countries. Earlier, the University has developed an arrangement for clinical training in various hospitals of Caribbean countries, Nepal, and the USA. Max Healthcare is now the latest addition to the list.

International Clinical Training will help the LAU students get an opportunity to pursue clinical training in different countries, understand the healthcare requirements at an international level, and come out as well-qualified doctors with international experience and global reputation.

Teaching is a strength of Max Healthcare as it is evidenced by Max Healthcare being a center of Education Excellence for various Postgraduate and Super Specialty Programs.

In partnership with the Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board of the United Kingdom (JRCPTB-UK), Max Healthcare offers a 3-Year Postgraduate Program in Internal Medicine. During the Program, medical graduates go through extensive practical training and laboratory research and patient management in outpatient and inpatient setting with Core Medical Training.

The Program is recognized by the Medical Council of India as Postgraduate MD Program and also incorporates the standards of MRCP-UK (Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom).

MRCP-UK is a postgraduate medical diploma and recognized worldwide for its quality benchmarks, medical knowledge, and clinical skills. To qualify MRCP-UK, the candidate is required to qualify the following three examinations:

Once students qualify all the three parts of MRCP-UK, they will get MRCP-UK Diploma, which is a very distinct professional qualification and is equivalent to Postgraduation in Medicine. MRCP-UK is also recognized by the General Medical Council (GMC) as part of the UK Postgraduate Medical Training Program.

So, after clinical training at Max Healthcare, students can enroll in the Postgraduate Program at Max Healthcare, which is the gateway to getting MRCP-UK Qualification. This is an added opportunity for the students of 精东影业.

Masters in Emergency Medicine is a Postgraduate Training Program conducted by Max Institute of Medical Excellence (MIME), a branch of Max Healthcare. Organized in collaboration with The Ronald Reagan Institute of Emergency Medicine (USA) and George Washington University, School of Medicine, this program is focused on the development of knowledge and skills of doctors for better emergency medical care in an effective and efficient manner.

Max Healthcare offers a range of fellowship and certification programs for medical graduates and postgraduates to help the doctors get mastery in the chosen field of specialization. Depending on the curriculum and training requirements, the program duration can range from 16 days to 12 months. Currently, the following programs are available:

Diplomate of National Board (DNB) is a postgraduate medical title awarded by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and is considered as equivalent to Postgraduate MD or MS qualification. DNB candidates undergo a training program in their choice of Broad, and Super specialties and exams for DNB are conducted by NBE in 54 disciplines.

Max Healthcare is accredited by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), which also conducts the FMGE Examination on behalf of the MCI, for imparting training and organizing fellowship programs for DNB candidates. Currently, following DNB Programs are offered by Max Institute of Medical Excellence (MIME):
